Each style is a full, composable system that covers every part of a document, including layout, fonts, colors, and pre-designed components.

  • International Style

    Ships free with Lahe. Restrained Swiss typographic style with enough color to not be drab. Always pleasing to read.

The house style that comes free with Lahe. It's what each document renders by default, and it covers every part of a page: layout, fonts, colors, and every component in the system.

The six styles below are alternatives for when you want a different look.

  • Textbook

    A warm cream page that opens like a chapter. Retro-modern educational vibes.

Lahe Styles are a style system that updates a document without rewriting it.

What you get with every style

  • Every part of a document. Fonts, colors, layouts, headings, tables, callouts, and more pre-designed components. Nothing falls back to a browser default.
  • Measured contrast. Every text colour is checked against the colour behind it, so your pages are always readable.
  • Fonts included. The fonts ship in the folder with their open licenses, so a document looks right offline.
  • Designed for Lahe. Lahe ships with everything this system needs, so you can swap a style into an existing Lahe document in one step.
  • Usable beyond Lahe. It is plain CSS and fonts, so it works on any HTML page, with or without Lahe.
  • A design guide. A short guide explains each element, so your AI will use the full style system and can extend the style without breaking it.
